Entry signals result when the market's natural acceleration and velocity patterns reach a threshold that's significant. It is our belief that accelerating momentum (long & short) attracts market participants and we look to position ourselves early in the stages of very large trending days. We've discovered critical price patterns that always accompany large moves intraday. When these patterns are identified, Propero quickly enters a position and will exit the position at the market's close.

Propero is a trend following system. A trigger can only occur when the market is extremely bullish or bearish (intraday). Because of this selectiveness, Propero is able to filter the chop and randomness associated with most days. Market breadth is a key gauge used to measure the strength of the current trend. Typically an entry occurs late morning once the opening congestion settles and institutional traders set the pace.

Propero is dependent on volatility, therefore it will not trade daily. During periods of high volatility the system will trigger more frequently. It is not unusual to go more than one week without a trigger. Though, it's not unusual to have back-to-back triggers during more volatile times. Experienced traders not only appreciate the consistency of this sytem, but also the way it avoids risk.
